Intel has issued a patent application for Bitcoin Mining Hardware Accelerator.
Intel is the world's largest cpu manufacturer. Our rival AMD is about to release its second generation of Lyzen.
As you know, we recently released the eighth-generation processor.
According to Techpowerup, Intel has already submitted the patent to the Patent Office in September 2016.
The purpose of the project is to make chips to complement the existing bit-coined mining process.

Currently, bit-coined mining software and hardware are heavily powered by indiscriminate application and execution of SHA-256 features, while Intel's patents focus on improving energy efficiency.
Intel said it could save up to 35 percent in power consumption in its mining system with its Bitcon Mining Hardware Accelerator.
On the other hand, bitcoin makes a significant contribution to investigation-only ASIC, and Intel predicts that the accelerator can also be applied to the ASIC.
Intel's patents will therefore be of great interest to the researchers, who are burdened by the large electrical consumption of its bitcoin mining system.
